Jun 13, 2010·Full slayer helm = +10% boost while on task Now, the only difference is range bonus. Neither of these gives any bonus, but with the helm, you can wear black dhide for a large bonus. So I would say helm. (Not to mention that against black drags you need high range bonus against high def)

Would full obsidian (helm/body/legs) + zerker necklace + zerker ring + obby sword be better dps at slayer (for my level - and until 70 melee stats) than d scimi + black mask + fury + zerker ring + obsidian body + obsidian legs?

Sep 15, 2020·Slayer helm: 15% attack and strength. For level, I entered 125, multiplied by either 1.2 or 7/6, and multiplied by 1.15 for attack and 1.23 for strength (turmoil base boost). Note that if a black mask with charges is used to make a Slayer helmet, the mask will lose all of its charges.
These charges reduce the opponent's Defence by 3-10 levels. Once the mask has been drained of all 10 charges, there is no way to recharge it; however, the Attack and Strength boosts still remain. Pretty useless, but it's there. When you make a slayer helm it will loose its charges, so it really doesn't matter.

why is the Black Mask/Slayer Helm/Full Slayer Helm lower level than the Focus Sight and Hexcrest? Jagex logic. And wouldn't I be better off with a Slayer Helm over a Full Slayer Helm since one's Melee and the other is Hybrid? I'm a bit confused here. Slayer isn't just about melee.

Sep 25, 2007·Black mask is only good if you plan on meleeing your slayer tasks, and that is not to mention a few that you cannot use it with, like ones that require facemask, nosepegs, earmuffs. BUT, i prefer it over basically everything else while training slayer. It is the best unless doing an undead slayer task. then it is time for slave ammy (e) + nezitot
